Starting June 28 - August 2, 2009 during The Mix on Sunday mornings in the Go Center Gym, join the CHC Student Ministry as we dive in to study Romans chapter 8. During this six weeks series we will learn how we can have life through the spirit, the future glory we have with Christ, and how we are more than conquers with Christ on our side. The Mix is for students in 7th – 12th grade and starts at 10:10am.
Starting July 1 – August 5, 2009 during the CHC Student Wednesday night worship in the Go Center Gym we will begin a new series called 7 Checkpoints: Seven Principles Every Teenager Needs To Know! During this series we will learn key basics of what Christianity is about. We will cover questions like: What is Salvation (Do you work for it and can you lose it?)? What is baptism? What is the Trinity? Is Jesus the only Savior (Why chose Christ anyways?)? And several other huge impact questions that you want to know. CHC Student Wednesday night worship begins at 6:15PM and ends at 7:45PM. This is for 7th – 12th Grade students only.

 Seattle Mission Trip
July 10 - 18, 2009
Students 7th - 12th Grade
Students and adults from the northwest corner of Mississippi will travel to the northwest corner of the United States to help a church plant called The Commons in the north Seattle community of Arlington, Washington. The primary purpose of the trip will be to assist The Commons with the 3rd annual All Stars Sports Camp. This recreational sports camp serves as a major outreach event to the Arlington community with the desire to inform the participants and their families of The Commons. Although the primary aspect of the trip will be to help with the sports camp, there will be other opportunities to canvas neighborhoods, work in the food pantry and clothes closet, and to ultimately encourage the staff of The Commons.
