Seattle Mission Trip
July 10 - 18, 2009
Students 7th - 12th Grade
Students and adults from the northwest corner of Mississippi will travel to the northwest corner of the United States to help a church plant called The Commons in the north Seattle community of Arlington, Washington. The primary purpose of the trip will be to assist The Commons with the 3rd annual All Stars Sports Camp. This recreational sports camp serves as a major outreach event to the Arlington community with the desire to inform the participants and their families of The Commons. Although the primary aspect of the trip will be to help with the sports camp, there will be other opportunities to canvas neighborhoods, work in the food pantry and clothes closet, and to ultimately encourage the staff of The Commons. To find more information on The Commons go to www.discoverthecommons.com!
